Kelly Fahey is one of the Principal Owners of Pac West Sales, Inc. His professional career in the industry began in 1994 at Mechanical Agents, a manufacturer’s rep firm founded by his father, Ron Fahey, and his partner and fellow founder, Darrell Slabaugh. Kelly started in the warehouse and worked his way through inside and outside sales roles, building a strong foundation in customer service, operations, and product knowledge. In 2005, after more than a decade of hands-on industry experience, Kelly co-founded Pac West Sales.
A turning point in Kelly’s career came after a devastating event in his family. His brother, sister-in-law, and their children narrowly escaped a 3:00 AM house fire that destroyed their home and claimed the life of their beloved family pet. Deeply affected, Kelly became passionate about Residential Fire Sprinkler systems. He focused his energy on making these life-saving systems more accessible by helping re-write the State of Washington’s installation requirements, which opened the trade to plumbing contractors. His advocacy and efforts led to him being featured on the cover of several trade magazines in the Northwest and playing a key role in pushing for state-wide adoption of residential fire sprinkler regulations. Kelly is a Certified Fire Sprinkler Designer.
Today, Kelly oversees the strategic direction and continued growth of Pac West Sales, focusing on big-picture relationships, coaching, and mentoring team members, and celebrating wins across the organization. Under Kelly’s leadership, Pac West Sales has assembled a team with over 500 years of collective experience, providing industry-leading service to partners across 11 Western U.S. states. His dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction has established Pac West as a trusted partner for manufacturers, distributors, and contractors throughout the West Coast.
Kelly is passionate about building strong partnerships with customers and manufacturers and takes pride in fostering a company culture rooted in integrity, service, and results.
Kelly loves spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and is the proud father of three children – Jess (Wade), Taylor, and Tanner. He is an avid sports fan with a special affinity for the AF1’s Washington Wolfpack, and he enjoys traveling, boating on the Puget Sound or Lake Chelan.
